Information collected and purposes

  • Orders and accounts: name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, order details, and payment-related transaction information needed to process purchases, deliver orders, handle returns and provide support.
  • Communications: information you provide in enquiries, reviews and newsletter subscriptions, used to answer you, manage your preferences and send marketing where permitted by law.
  • Website use: technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, shopping-cart activity and interactions with the site, collected through Shopify and applicable cookies or similar technologies to operate the storefront, maintain security, prevent fraud and understand site use.

Information needed to complete an order is required for that transaction. You may choose not to provide optional information or subscribe to marketing. Please avoid sending full payment-card details or sensitive personal information by email.

Shopify, payments and service providers

Shopify provides our commerce platform. Personal information is handled by Shopify and the payment services you select as needed to provide the storefront and process transactions. Payment information is handled under those providers’ applicable security and privacy practices; transaction records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention and legal requirements.

We share information needed for an order or service with relevant payment processors, carriers, fulfilment providers and customer-support or communication providers. Information may also be disclosed where legally required, to address fraud or security issues, or in a lawful business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections.

Shopify’s own data practices, including where it acts independently, are described in Shopify’s Privacy Policy. Other providers’ policies may also apply to their services.

Shopify Network Intelligence

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for this store. Shopify uses customer information from this store together with information from interactions with other merchants and Shopify to improve products, advertising and personalization, as described in Shopify’s Privacy Policy. Shopify acts as an independent controller for certain processing connected with these services. Contact our Privacy Officer about applicable consent, objection or opt-out rights.

Cookies and choices

Cookies and similar technologies support functions such as cart contents, checkout and security. Analytics or marketing technologies, where used, can collect information about visits and interactions. Where a consent banner or privacy-choice control is displayed, use it to manage the choices offered. You can also manage cookies in your browser; disabling essential cookies may affect checkout or other functions. Contact our Privacy Officer for information about technologies used on this store or to exercise applicable privacy choices.

Consent required by law for optional tracking or a new use of personal information is separate from consent needed to process an order. A purchase does not by itself subscribe you to optional marketing.

Marketing preferences

You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by emailing us. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary order, delivery, return or security messages. You may withdraw consent to optional processing, subject to legal or contractual restrictions we will explain where relevant.

Processing outside Québec or Canada

Shopify and other providers may process or store information outside Québec or Canada, including in the United States and other countries. Information processed abroad may be subject to the laws and lawful access processes of that jurisdiction. Contact us for more information about cross-border processing related to your information.

Retention and security

Information is retained as needed for the purposes described above and applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute and legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of information and the circumstances. Contact us about the retention of your information or to request deletion, subject to obligations that require continued retention.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and work with service providers to protect it. No online transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to or correction of personal information, deletion where available, withdrawal of consent, and a copy of qualifying computerized information in a structured, commonly used technological format. You may also ask about other rights available where you live. We may need reasonable identity verification and will explain any lawful limits or refusal. Contact the Privacy Officer to make a request or complaint. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the privacy regulator applicable to you.

Children

The store is intended for shoppers able to enter a purchase contract or acting with appropriate parental or guardian authorization. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization.

Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the store, services or applicable requirements. The update date appears above. Material changes and any additional consent required by law will be addressed as applicable; publishing a revised policy alone does not authorize an otherwise unlawful new use of information.
